Maison Kojira is an independent food producer creating gourmet salts and fermented non-alcoholic drinks in Bangkok from whole ingredients. We use fermentation, ageing and preservation to develop flavour naturally, producing in licensed small-scale batches rather than relying on artificial flavourings, colourings, preservatives, stabilisers or emulsifiers.
Our strongest alignment is with SDG 12: Responsible Consumption and Production. Fermentation, ageing and preservation extend the useful life of ingredients, while careful small-batch production, recyclable glass packaging and free educational resources help people use food more effectively and reduce avoidable waste.
We also contribute to SDG 2: Zero Hunger through the preservation and value-added use of agricultural ingredients, creating longer-lasting foods that retain more value from agricultural harvests.
Our contribution to SDG 3: Good Health and Well-being centres on transparent, minimally processed foods made from recognisable ingredients, together with free educational resources that help people cook confidently from whole foods.
Through local production and skilled food-making, we support SDG 8: Decent Work and Economic Growth by building an independent manufacturing business in Bangkok.
Our work also aligns with SDG 9: Industry, Innovation and Infrastructure by combining traditional preservation techniques with controlled production, food science and regulatory compliance to create distinctive, shelf-stable foods.
